What AMO has achieved       In its first year of existence, AMO has: Established an ongoing dialogue through meetings and correspondence with the PLA Chief Executive Officer and the PLA Head of Property, on a range of issues, including licence fees, future of the river, cultural/leisure use and ancient moorings. More meetings are due. Begun a dialogue with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) about rights of tenure for houseboats. Begun media communication, with the first piece promoting houseboat lifestyle and mentioning AMO, appearing in the Daily Express, 2nd September, 2005.
